Use the right paper!

WATERCOLOR markers need watercolor paper, using ANY marker on thin paper will bleed, that’s just how it works. These are water color brushes, we can use water color paper, mixed media paper, etc. Basically anything thicker than plain loose leaf/notebook paper or printer paper.

Nice color selection and no bleed through! In the past I have had poor luck with water based pens and markers. They all seem to bleed through the pages of coloring books which is how I use markers. On a lark, I took a chance on these and they passed! Because I did not want to ruin a coloring book page, I tested on a sheet of 28 lb color copier paper. Good starter set for newbies at an affordable price. I have been wanting to try brush pens for a while now. This set was my 1st choice because of the price and because aen art makes decent coloring supplies.
